The headlights for Mercedes Benz R-Class (W251) is a large luxury MPV launched by Mercedes Benz headlights in 2005 as a 2006 model. After the success of the small A- and B-class MPVs, Mercedes lights showed a concept car called Vision GST (Grand Sports Tourer) at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show, and a second model at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show. Concept model, followed by a production version at the 2005 New York International Show. The R-Class (W251) Benz headlights share its platform with the M-Class (W164) and GL-Class (X164) and is offered in two wheelbase lengths: standard 2980 mm (117.3 inches) and long 3215 mm (126.6 inches). In the United States and Canada, only the long wheelbase version is sold. Before the end of 2013, the R-Class was sold internationally in both standard and long wheelbase versions.
