Question:
Answer:
This charger comes with an app (download) that allows you to dial in the amperage that you want to charge at. I have a PEHV and I am limited to 16A by the vehicle, but I can dial in the app to charge at anything below that if I want. Just remember that the application determines the MAXIMUM charge rate allowable, based on what you dial it in to. If you set it for a 32A charge rate (40A circuit breaker) and you set your car for something less than that, you car determines the rate. If you set your car for something higher than that of the app, the app limits the charge rate. I have not seen the app automatically (plug and play) adjust to the amperage I set my car to nor do I see any option for that to happen. I would recommend always using the app to dial in the rate you want to charge at (so you can do it with your phone and have complete control) and max out the rate your car allows you to charge at. In this way you don’t have to keep adjust the car’s value. As I am not an official voice for Wallbox, they can either confirm or deny what I have just said, but it’s how I charge my vehicle and I don’t see any smart option for the charger to automatically adjust to the charging rate you set your car to.

The Pulsar Plus app does not offer a State of Charge setting at this time. This is something that can be set on the EV side.
