How do i know what setting to set the amp? there are no markings on the knob inside the device. i want to set it to a max of 32amp draw.

Answer:

There are two ways to manage the charging current of your charger. During installation, your installer can set the physical current selector switch inside the charger to the appropriate amperage suitable for the connected circuit. This is to ensure that neither the charger nor your vehicle draws more than 80% of the connected circuit’s maximum rating (per the National Electrical Code).

 

You can also adjust using the myWallbox app. On the charger app screen, tap the amperage adjustment wheel and scroll clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust to your preferred power setting.

This Pulsar Plus 40 Amp is a Type 1 charger and designed for North America. Type 2 would be the European version.

 

Question:

Does this charger have an ethernet connection?

Answer:

There is not an ethernet connection. The Pulsar Plus is enabled for wireless connection via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

 

Question:

Can the wallbox be set to be always on? for example, i come home and plug my car in and the charger is ready. if so how do i do this?

Answer:

You can leave the Pulsar Plus on at all times if that is your preference. To initiate charging, simply plug the Pulsar Plus into your EV. In order to charge at anytime just make sure there are no schedules set in the MyWallbox app or on your EV's side.
