ATKCONN  battery retainers are manufactured from phosphor bronze with tin-nickel plating and engineered with reliable spring tension to ensure low contact resistance while firmly securing batteries within retainers. This micro battery retainer accepts lithium and silver-oxide batteries from all major manufacturers and is compatible with all soldering and reflow operations (including lead-free and high-temperature) and with most vacuum and mechanical pick-and-place assembly systems. The SMT version features solder tails located outside of the retainer body to ease visual inspection of solder joints while the THM version features snap-in legs to maintain retainer security during the soldering process.
