FAQ:

1.I would like to order a design that is not featured on the website, can I order it?

Yes, no problem at all. At our Fairings we specialize in custom orders. Click the ‘Contact Us’ tab at the top of the website and get in touch with us about your design, send us a photo and we’ll work with you to get it made. Some custom designs may incur a small additional charge.

2.Some of the fairing kits don’t have the logos that I want on them, is it possible to add different logos to the kit.

Absolutely, if you see a kit that you like but want to add different logos, or even remove some of the logos, get in touch with us using the ‘Contact Us’ tab at the top of the website with a link to the product you like and description of the logos that you either want to add or remove, and we will be more them happy to help you out.

3.When will I receive my fairings?

The production of our kits takes around 15-20 working days, depending on the complexity of the design, once shipped out the kit can then take 7-13 days to be delivered. Trust us, its well worth the wait.

4.Can I order single fairings for my bike?

Contact Us. We will be more then happy to write a quote for the parts that you need, painted or unpainted. However we can not guarantee that colors will match 100%.

5. Why have I not received an update regarding my recent order?

Usually this is because your fairing kit is still in production, there are two times when we will get in contact with you. Once when your fairing kit is initially ordered and we send you a confirmation of your order, secondly when we send you photos of your kit before we ship it out. Be sure to allow the full time advised for production of the fairing kit.

6. What should I do if the fairing has the issue of non fitment?

If you receive a kit and there are issues such as paint or non fitment, be sure to get in touch with us and we will be more then happy to help replace parts.

7.What's the difference between injection and compression molded fairings?

①In compression molding, the mold has to be pre-heated before the plastic is poured on it. Then pressure is applied while the pre-heated mold gets cooled down. The extra plastic that remains after the cooling period needs to be removed. Due to pressure differences, it is often seen that compression molded motorcycle fairing kits are more prone to fitting related problems. injection molded fairings, already melted ABS plastic is poured into the mold and then uniform pressure is applied all around so that proper shrinkage takes place. Once the plastic is cold and hard, you will notice uniformity throughout the entire part of the product. ②Fairings created with injection molding have all their holes, fasteners and cut-outs completed during the primary phase. Thus, the fairings coming out of the injection mold are complete. However, in compression molded fairings, the fasteners are installed and the holes drilled by workers in secondary operations. Due to the involvement of manual processes, you often don’t get the precise placement of the drilled holes or fasteners in them.
