GY-03/GY-02/GY-01 Fruit Penetrometer Sclerometer Professtional Farm Fruit Hardness Tester Machine with 2 Measuring Head
1. Purpose
Fruit Hardness Tester (also known as Fruit Hardness Tester or Fruit Hardness Tester), this product is divided into GY-1, GY-2, GY-3 three models, used to measure the hardness of apples, pears, watermelons, bananas and other fruits , Used to determine the maturity of the fruit, to have a reasonable grasp of the cultivation of fine varieties, picking time, processing time, harvest storage, export transportation, etc. It is suitable for use by fruit tree research departments, fruit tree farms, fruit companies, universities and colleges. The instrument is small in size, light in weight, intuitive in value display, easy to carry, and is suitable for fruit inspection in various fruit places. It can also be assembled on a dedicated machine to improve the accuracy of testing and is suitable for professional testing departments.
2. Design principle
Fruit hardness refers to the pressure (N) of the force spring on the unit area (S) of the fruit, and their ratio is defined as the fruit hardness (P).
P =N/S
P—The hardness value of the tested fruit is 105 Pa or (kg per square mile)
N—The force of the force measuring spring on the fruit surface N Newton or (kg)
S—the force-bearing area of the fruit square meters or (square centimeters)
3. How to use
Before measurement: Turn the dial to align the driving pointer with the first scale line of the dial (GY-1 type is scale line 2, GY-2 and GY-3 type is scale line 0.5); cut off the fruit to be tested About 1 square centimeter of skin.
Measurement: Hold the hardness tester, make the hardness tester perpendicular to the surface of the fruit to be tested, and press the indenter evenly into the fruit. At this time, the driving pointer starts to drive the indicating pointer to rotate. When the indenter reaches the scale line (10 mm), it stops. The reading indicated by the indicator pointer is the hardness of the fruit, and the average value is taken three times.
After measurement: Turn the zero return knob to reset the pointer to the initial scale line.
Four, matters needing attention
1. Before measuring, loosen the tightening knob, turn the dial to align the driving pointer (straight head) with the initial scale line, and then tighten the tightening knob. Check whether the indicating pointer is on the right side of the driving pointer. If it is found that it is not, turn the zero return knob to make the indicating pointer on the right side of the driving pointer.
2. In order to achieve a more ideal accuracy, before the measurement, press the indenter by hand and force the full scale two to three times to lubricate it.
3. When measuring the hardness, insert it evenly and slowly, do not rotate and press in, let alone impact measurement.
4. The indenter should be perpendicular to the surface of the fruit.
5. The outer scale unit of GY-1 and GY-2 fruit hardness testers is ×10 5 Pa, and the inner scale unit is kg/cm2. For GY-3 type, when a small indenter is connected, use the inner scale to read , When connecting a large indenter, use the outer scale to read.
6. Keep the instrument and the pressure head clean, and clean the juice after the measurement.
7. The upper professional rack connector is for the professional inspection department to connect to the rack. When you need to connect, unscrew the knob and use the screw inside to screw on the screw hole on the rack.
8. After using for more than one year, the back cover should be opened, and a small amount of gauge oil should be injected into the spindle, gear, jewel eye, guide groove, etc. to improve the accuracy of the instrument and extend the service life.
9. The force measuring spring has been calibrated at the factory, and the nut is not allowed to rotate without authorization.
