Keep natural latex foam away from direct sunlight. Exposure to sunlight will cause yellowing and deterioration. Natural latex naturally deters dust mites and needs no washing. Never machine-wash latex foam or let it agitate in washing machines.

Natural latex has a distinct smell. When you get a brand new latex pillow it might have a slight sweet rubbery scent. While there is nothing in the pillow that is harmful, it does permit a certain smell that people may notice. The large majority of people will not be bothered by the faint, slightly sweet smell of natural latex, and some cite it as a key advantage when selecting a natural latex pillow.
For those who are sensitive to smells, it is recommended to allow 5-10 days of airing (without exposure to sunlight) in well ventilated places in the balcony before first use. The smell will grow faint but will not completely disappear. For those who are extremely sensitive and can not stand the natural latex smell, this pillow may not be your best choice.
