Brief introduction
Hollow cathode lamp is a glow discharge tube made of the element material to be measured or its alloy. It is mainly used for the analysis light source of atomic absorption spectrometer. The lamp has a starting voltage ≤360V. It is a supporting light source for atomic absorption and has a spectrum Strong line emission energy, high absorption sensitivity, good stability, long life (most elements can reach 5000mAh, low melting point elements can reach 3000mAh), low noise, low drift and other characteristics.
Atomic absorption spectrometer that can match platinum Elmer / PE.
Performance parameter
1 Starting voltage: ≦ 360V, low starting voltage (especially when lighting at high frequency), it can be applied to various atomic absorption spectrometers (AAS). Generally, the power supply frequency of atomic absorption spectrometer lamps is 200Hz, 400Hz or Higher, the lamp should be turned on and off hundreds of times per second continuously.
2 the maximum working current: generally between 10 ~ 30mA, LTL-PE4, LTL-PE9 hollow cathode lamps are slightly larger.
3 Ultra-pure spectral performance: The characteristic radiation spectral line has high intensity and stability, and there is no overlapping interference of emission spectral lines such as cathode material impurity elements or other elements, anode material, and filled inert gas, and the light source output is continuous and stable.
4 emission performance: unique cathode ring system to ensure uniform and fast light emission performance.
5 Noise: <0.3%, signal noise is reduced to a minimum.
6Background scene: The radiation background on both sides of the characteristic spectral line is low, and the background intensity near the main analysis line is less than 1% of the analysis intensity.
7 warm-up time: <30min, generally between 5-15min.
8 Stability: ≦ + 1% —- 1%
Copper lamps have a baseline drift of <1% within 30 minutes, and other element lamps have a baseline drift of <1% within 5 minutes.
9 Light body structure: The special design of the base ensures a direct connection between the cathode pin and the wiring. The structure is compact, solid and reliable, and easy to use.
10 years of life: gas capacity is larger than other brand products, product life is longer, general element lights ≥ 5000mA.h, fusible and volatile element lights ≥ 3000mA.h, can be stored for a long time.
Instructions for use
The user should select the lamp current according to the requirements of the instrument used and the element to be measured. The lamp current marked on the lamp label is the maximum allowed working current. The user should generally choose one-third or two-thirds of the maximum working current of the lamp. about. The selection principle is based on the premise that the lamp can provide sufficient energy to the instrument, and try to use a smaller working current.
Do not damage or stain the light window. If there is any stain, wipe it with alcohol cotton to ensure good light transmission. Avoid looking directly after the lamp is on, to prevent UV light from hurting your eyes.
For low melting point and volatile element lamps, avoid large current and continuous use for a long time; try to avoid large vibration during use; after use, you must wait for the lamp tube to cool before moving, and keep the window facing up when moving to prevent Elements in the cathode lamp are poured out.
The neon light outside the cathode of the normal lamp is orange-red. If it is found that the glow color becomes lighter (there is a little influence of hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen in the lamp), the emission intensity is reduced. At this time, the current can be reversed to orange-red with 25-30mA current. Note: Alkali metal and alkaline earth metal lamps other than magnesium cannot be reversed.
In order to prolong the service life of the lamp, it is best to light it for about 1 hour at a rated operating current at a certain interval (about 3 months).
The tube base of this lamp is standard large eight-pin (except PE type), 1 (5) pin is the cathode, and 3 (7) pin is the anode.
