Cerium tungsten is the most commonly used tungsten electrode in the United States.The cerium tungsten electrode contains 1.7 to 2.2 percent thorium oxide and has an electronic working function of 2.7 ev. It can be widely used in various tigs and has a simple and stable arc.Thorium oxide has strong current carrying capacity, high crystallization temperature, good electrical conductivity, strong mechanical cutting performance and long service life.This tungsten is mainly used for direct current welding of carbon, stainless steel, nickel alloy and titanium.Keep the tip of tungsten carbide electrode sharp during welding, so that the ball on the tip of tungsten electrode is not easy to crack.
