Troubleshooting:
Why is my mig160 Welder not welding correctly?
1. Wire feed tension: Check the tension on the spooler. Is it set too tight or is the wire feed tension not set correctly?
2. Wire choice: Are you using .035” wire? We recommend .030-0.35" for best performance.
3. Stick out: Is your stick out too long? Your stick out should be no more than ½”.
4. Pull the trigger: To begin welding, pull the trigger on the MIG gun.
5. Proper grounding: The ground should not be attached to painted or coated metal.
