| II. Overview of single phase solid state relay products |
AC solid state relay is a kind of contactless on-off electronic switch, in which two terminals are input control terminals and the other two ends are output controlled terminals. Photoelectric isolation is used in the middle and photoelectric coupling is used between input and output. When DC or pulse signal is added to the input, the output can change from off state to on state (blocking state when there is no signal), so as to control large load. The whole device has no moving parts and contacts, which can realize the same function as the common mechanical electromagnetic relay.

V. precautions for selection of solid state relay products
● when selecting products, different margins should be reserved in current grade according to different load properties. (for resistive load, it can be selected according to 2-3 times of load current. For inductive or capacitive load, it can be selected as 3-5 times of load current).
● according to the relationship between load current and ambient temperature, when the ambient temperature is high or the heat dissipation condition is poor. The current capacity should be increased. In order to prevent short circuit of load when using, it is required to connect the corresponding quick break switch or quick fuse in the load circuit.
● in case of inductive load, varistors should be connected in parallel at the output end to prevent damage to the thyristor in case of overvoltage. Selection of varistor (MOV): 430-470v for 240V, 680-750v for 440V and 1100-1200v for 660V.
● during installation, it is required that the contact surface between the radiator and the product must be smooth and smooth, and a layer of thermal conductive silicone grease should be evenly coated on the surface. Finally, the screws with flat washer and spring washer should be tightened symmetrically.
● when the solid-state relay stops working for the first time, the fixing screw should be tightened again when there is residual temperature, so that the solid-state relay bottom plate and the radiator surface can be in close contact to achieve heat dissipation effect.
