NOTE:this frequency counter is DIY Kit,not assembled!
Feature:
- This document describes the construction of a small counter with a low-cost PIC microcontroller and several seven-segment LED numbers.
- Frequency range 1 Hz ... 50 MHz
- Five-digit resolution (displayed for example x.xxxx kHz, x.xxxx MHz,
Or xx.xxx MHz)
- Measuring signal amplitudes up to 30 v
- 4-40 m passive crystal can be measured
- Automatic range switching with different gate times
- Optional plus frequency reduction (programmable)
- Very low component count: PIC 16F628, 5 7-segment LED display, 20MHz crystal and several resistors
- Optional (configurable) power saving mode, automatic rotation
- If the frequency does not change significantly within 15 seconds, the display is off
- Can use USB 5V or DC5-12V power supply
