STMicroelectronics STWIN SensorTile Wireless Industrial Node (STEVAL-STWINKT1) is a comprehensive development kit and reference design that simplifies the prototyping and testing of advanced industrial IoT applications, such as condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. STEVAL-STWINKT1 is based on the core system board, which has a variety of embedded industrial-grade sensors. The core system board includes an ultra-low power Arm® Cortex®-M4 microcontroller and various industrial-grade sensors, which can perform 9-DoF motion detection and vibration analysis at various vibration frequencies, including ultra-high frequency audio and ultrasound Spectrum and high-precision local temperature and environmental monitoring.
The core system board supports BLUETOOTH®/Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless connection through the onboard module, and supports Wi-Fi® connection through the optional Wi-Fi expansion board (STEVAL-STWINWFV1). In addition, wired connection can be supported through the onboard RS485 transceiver. The core system board also includes an STMOD+ connector for compatible, low-cost, small-size daughter boards related to the STM32 series, such as LTE cellular expansion boards.
