The controller can control the dual-degree-of-freedom platform to track the sun in real time, and has the functions of being flat in the wind and centered in the cloudy night. It is suitable for most latitude areas, infrared wireless manual control, and various parameters can be adjusted freely, and the LCD screen parameters display functions.
The requirements for the platform are: it must be a platform driven by two brushed DC motors, and the platform must have a limit function (external limit is recommended, or a controller can be introduced for limit).
This controller is a dual-axis sun tracking controller, which uses a dedicated four-quadrant silicon crystal azimuth detection head to detect the direction of the sun. The detection head signal is analyzed and judged through the single-chip circuit on the controller, and the relay combination control platform on the circuit board The corresponding motor on the board performs the process of tracking the sun, and also has the functions of flattening in case of wind and returning at night. The corresponding parameters are displayed on the English LCD screen, and various parameters can be set freely with the buttons of the infrared remote control.
The platform corresponding to this controller requires a dual-degree-of-freedom platform. The drive motor of the platform is a DC brushed motor, the motor voltage is 12 or 24V, and the total current is less than 7A. The four directions of the platform should be limited position switch.

The main controller adopts an IP65 waterproof box as the shell, and has four waterproof interfaces for line connection. All line connections on the main board use terminal wiring, and the upper cover is transparent, allowing real-time observation of the corresponding parameter status. All wire diameters are required to be no more than 7mm diameter.
The detection head adopts a four-quadrant photodiode detection method, which is blocked by the middle column to produce different sunlight radiation voltage values in four directions. When the angle to the sun is less than about 10 degrees, the inner ring photodiode in the inner hole captures the sunlight And output signals, this method greatly improves the tracking accuracy, four signals are transmitted to the motherboard through a 5-core cable. The installation method is M4 bolt fixing (left and right spacing 44MM), all parts are made with 3D printing technology and professional crystal epoxy board production process, and the back welding line is covered with waterproof silicone to prevent normal rain.
The wind speed sensor is used to detect the ambient wind speed. When the wind speed reaches the protection value set by the controller, the controller controls the platform to drive to a place where it can avoid wind to protect the platform. The default wind speed sensor cable length is 3 meters. (If the customer configures the wind speed sensor by himself, the voltage signal type wind speed sensor is required)

installation method:
Installation of detection head:
Install the detection head on the platform and follow the movement of the platform. Note that it should be perpendicular to the upper surface of the platform. When the platform is centered, the outlet hole of the detection head faces downward.
Try to install the detection head on the east edge of the north side of the platform.
Installation of the main control box:
The main control box should be installed near the base column of the platform, without moving with the platform, to ensure that it will not be affected by rain, exposure and other influences, and the outlet hole should face downwards to prevent inflow. It is better to be able to observe and operate conveniently.
Installation of wind speed sensor:
The wind speed sensor should be installed near the platform where it can be effectively blown by the wind. Don't be close to the wall or the ground. It is better to install with a pillar support.
Lead the wires of the detection head and the wind speed sensor into the control box and connect them according to the signs, leaving room and installing firmly.
Note that the wiring method of our wind speed sensor is: red connect signal input, black connect GND, V+ power supply does not need to be connected.
If it is an outsourced wind speed sensor from other manufacturers, distinguish V+, negative, and signal, and just connect it according to the instructions in the manual.
The wind speed sensor terminal V+ on this control board is the power supply voltage value (12-24V). The signal output requirement must be voltage type and the signal range is less than 5V.
