USE AND CARE GUIDE FOR STAINLESS STEEL COOKWARE:
● Before the first use,wash the stainless steel cookware with detergent,rinse and dry.
● To remove stickers and labels from the cookware,simply soak it in warm water and carefully scrub them off with a soft sponge.
● Do not use metal sponge or detergents containing abrasives,chlorine or ammonia.
● To remove food residue,fill the cookware with hot water and detergent and eat it for 5-10 minutes then the residue can easily be wiped off with a soft sponge.
● The cookware can be washed in a dishwasher or by hand with detergent or special cleaner for stainless steel cleaners.Use the soft side of a sponge.
● Hard water staining can be removed by scrubbing the cookware with a soft sponge and a solution of water and vinegar.
● When cooking,salt should only be added after boiling.If salt is present in the water before boiling,white spots may appear on the base and walls of the saucepan.Do not heat the empty cookware.This will cause overheating of the metal walls and discoloration.
● The diameter of the bottom of the cookware should be the same siae as the burner.If the cookware is used on a stove,the flame should not exceed the surface of the cookware.The handles will heat up less in this case.However,we always recommend using FISSMAN oven mitts to prevent burns.
● Avoid sudden temperature changes when using the stainless steel cookware.Do not wash the cookware while it is still hot;cool it down to room temperature.
