This soft flash diffuser has an elasticated fitting and attaches neatly over the head of your flash unit creating an exposure of even density across the entire surface of the film.

Without the diffuser, light from the flash is projected straight at the subject creating harsh shadows behind it, but with the diffuser in place, the light thrown at the subject is much softer.

The diffuser has 2 interior surfaces, white and black:
